Why is my Toilet Gurgling and Bubbling

Why is my Toilet Gurgling and Bubbling in Rochester, NY?

Frequently I get asked ” when the toilet upstairs is flushed it gurgling or bubbles in toilet downstairs ” There are a couple of things that could cause this to happen. Most of the time this is the beginning of a clogged line, somewhere below the downstairs toilet. In which case the plumbers at Leone Plumbing & Heating would locate the closest cleanout (usually found in basement) to gain entry to snake the line with the appropiate snake or (roto rooter) machine to clear the blockage. If there is not a cleanout then they would pull the first floor toilet to gain entry to the plumbing drain sysytem. In other cases it could be that a venting problem has developed and a Leone Plumbing & Heating technician would need to diagnose a strategic location to install a air admittance valve.

Fantastic experience with Andy. When we were flooded out, though he was very busy already, he responded immediately and took the time to ask the right questions and diagnose the issue. He offered his immediate help and we are back up and running! Very professional and understanding. This will be the first place I call from now on for any work needed.

I called Leone because I had sewer water in my basement. Two guys came to my house and spent a couple hours snaking my sewer drain, but unfortunately couldn't clear it. The next step was to install a lot line clean out (which was an entirely new concept for me). Andy took time to explain it and answer my questions, and we decided to go ahead with this project. Andy handled getting the utility lines staked, acquired necessary work permits, coordinated the inspection with the City, and when the job was done he communicated with the County to ensure they would come back to my house to unclog the sewer. The crew that handled the work (digging up my yard and installing the lateral pipe) showed up when they said they would and worked with great care and professionalism to ensure the job was done right and within the timeframe that was explained to me. They took pictures of everything and kept me informed throughout the process. The County did show up later that afternoon, as expected, and cleared the stoppage.

We called Leone plumbing because we had a water leak and zero clue where it was coming from. Our ceilings were full of water and floors ruined!! They came out same day found the leak and repaired it. After all the damage from the water we needed ALOT of work done. New floors up stairs and down stairs the ceiling replaced and new counter tops! Lucky us they are a one stop shop! The next day they had someone come out and do and estimate and had supplies ordered in that week!! We had family from out of state staying with us so our house was a bit cramped and Leone plumbing was more than accommodating when it came to what time they could start and what rooms to start. Very respectful workers and very friendly! Definitely something you do not see that often anymore in that trade!! Very happy with their work!!!
